In a powerful witness of faith, Cooper Kupp, a Super Bowl champion and wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, is using his football career as a platform to share the message of Jesus Christ. Speaking at the “Arise with the Guys” event hosted by Hall of Famer Tony Dungy, Kupp opened up about the deeper purpose behind his success.
A nine-year NFL veteran who joined the Seahawks prior to the 2025 season, Kupp played a key role in his team’s victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX, recording six catches for 61 yards in the 29–13 win. Yet, despite these achievements, he made it clear that his identity is not rooted in trophies or titles.
“Because of my faith in Jesus,” he shared, “I know my purpose goes beyond what I do on the field.” Kupp emphasized that he believes his talents were given not simply to achieve athletic success, but to point others to Christ and live a life that reflects Him.
He also spoke about the role of God in his personal life, crediting divine guidance for shaping his journey, including his marriage to his wife, Anna Marie, who has played a significant role in his faith and family life.
Known for his openness about faith, Kupp continues to inspire many by remaining grounded in humility and gratitude. His message is simple yet powerful: true purpose is not found in success, but in serving God and leading others to Him.
