Michael Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, has broken his silence in a new video, urging the public to refocus on Clancy’s three children while speaking openly about his Catholic faith. The Massachusetts trial ended in a mistrial Sept. 4 after Desronvil stood alone against the other 11 jurors.
In the video aired on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Desronvil called Cora, Dawson and Callan “the three angels,” saying they could no longer speak for themselves, defend themselves or fight their own battles. He said that although public attention had centred on him after the mistrial, he wanted people to turn their focus back to the three children.

DESRONVIL THANKS GOD FOR CATHOLIC FAITH
Desronvil also spoke openly about his faith, thanking God for his Catholic beliefs and for blessing him with the ability to love his daughter. He also thanked those who had stood by him with prayers and emotional encouragement during the controversy surrounding the proceedings.
Desronvil has maintained that he never wavered in his view of the case. According to Fox News, he said the physical evidence, key witnesses and the prosecution’s case convinced him that Clancy knew what she was doing and had planned the killings. Fellow jurors, however, have accused him of expressing doubts during deliberations while still favouring conviction. Desronvil and his attorney, Edward Paltzik, have denied those allegations.
Clancy’s defence attorney has since sought an investigation into Desronvil’s conduct. Clancy is due back in court Sept. 29 for a status conference as prosecutors weigh whether to seek a retrial.
