White House Shares Bold Valentine’s Day Cards Featuring Maduro, Greenland & More

The White House marked Valentine’s Day with a set of provocative, politically themed digital cards, each referencing a major moment of President Donald Trump’s second term.

Shared across official social platforms under the slogan “Made just for you,” the cards mix political messaging with tongue-in-cheek Valentine humour.

Maduro Featured in “You Captured My Heart” Card

One card shows former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro blindfolded and handcuffed — a nod to his dramatic capture by U.S. forces and transfer to New York to face drug-trafficking charges.
The caption reads: “You captured my heart.”

Trump’s Executive Order Turned Into Valentine

Another card features Donald Trump holding a document labelled Executive Order 4547, stylised with the message:
“UR My Valentine.”

Card Targeting Democrats Over Migration

A third design shows Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen drinking margaritas with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 member.
The card reads:
“My love for you is as strong as Democrats’ love for illegal aliens. I’d fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you.”

The case drew controversy earlier when Garcia was mistakenly deported to El Salvador despite a 2019 court order, before later being returned to the U.S. to face charges.

Greenland Makes a Comeback

Another Valentine’s card includes a heart-shaped outline of Greenland, referencing Trump’s revived desire to annex the Danish territory.
Caption: “It’s time we define our situationship.”

Trump Himself Reportedly Created Many Posts

According to reports, many of the humorous online posts were created directly by Trump, along with senior aides Dan Scavino and Kaelan Dorr.

A White House official told the New York Post:

“We’re unburdened by traditional norms of what’s ‘acceptable’ in politics. We speak the people’s language, and people love this type of content.”
