Calls for prayer for the people of Iran are circulating amid reports of ongoing suffering under the country’s Islamic leadership and in the wake of U.S.–Israel military strikes described by supporters as efforts to free citizens from what they call an oppressive regime.
According to claims shared by Lily Ricci, director of partner relations for Iran Alive Ministries, grieving Iranian families have allegedly been forced to pay what is described as a “bullet fee” to recover the bodies of protesters killed during government crackdowns. The reports state that authorities have demanded thousands of dollars per bullet used in the shootings before releasing the bodies to relatives.

In her interview with CBN News, Ricci described the situation as deeply brutal and traumatic for grieving families, and said the underground Christian church in Iran is actively meeting both practical and spiritual needs. She added that some Muslims have reported dreams about Jesus, experiences she said have led to conversions to the Christian faith.
The reports have intensified scrutiny over the treatment of protesters and their families, highlighting what observers describe as extreme measures taken against grieving relatives. The allegations underscore the heavy toll the political crisis continues to impose on ordinary Iranian citizens
