The Augustinians, in collaboration with the Vatican Publishing House, have announced the upcoming release of a book compiling the writings of Pope Leo XIV prior to his election to the papacy.

Titled “Free Under Grace: Writings and Meditations 2001–2013,” the volume was unveiled on October 15 during the Frankfurt Book Fair.

The collection brings together Pope Leo’s writings, meditations, reflections, and addresses from his years as Prior General of the Augustinian Order. According to the Vatican Publishing House, the book offers readers a deeper insight into the spirituality of the current pontiff, marked by the distinct Augustinian character that shapes his thought and leadership.

The book, which will be available in Italian, Spanish, and English, is expected to reach stores in spring 2026. Fr. Joseph Lawrence Farrell, O.S.A., the current Prior General of the Augustinians, described it as a highly anticipated work for readers worldwide.
