KIRK WITNESS KEEPS BRINGING SEEKERS TO CHRIST
One year after Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025, supporters are revisiting the Christian witness that shaped his political influence and repeatedly pointed audiences toward Christ. His campus debates, broadcasts and Turning Point USA events became opportunities to speak about sin, redemption, Scripture and the Christian promise of everlasting salvation.
FAITH ROOTED IN CHILDHOOD – MARY INSPIRES HIS CHRISTIAN MESSAGE
In a June 2024 interview on The George Janko Show, the activist recalled committing himself to Christ in fifth grade, calling it “the most important decision” he had ever made. Although that commitment began in childhood, he said his faith deepened after high school as he built Turning Point USA, and Christianity became the foundation of his public mission. “I’m nothing without Jesus,” he said.

He connected his convictions to biblical teaching. The unborn, marriage and Christian truth were defended, while TPUSA Faith encouraged believers to share the Gospel publicly. In July 2025, he praised Catholics for protecting the unborn and defending marriage, calling Mary “the solution” to toxic feminism, presenting her piety, reverence and faith as an example for young women.
Four days before the assassination, he posted, “Jesus defeated death so you can live,” reflecting the Gospel hope proclaimed throughout his work. When asked how he wished to be remembered, he answered, “For courage for my faith.” His Sept. 21 memorial became an immense Christian gathering filled with Scripture, prayer and worship, with songs centred on Christ.
The Associated Press reported increased church attendance and online testimonies of people returning to worship or accepting Christ after the assassination. U.S. Bible sales reached 2.4 million copies in September 2025, 36% above the previous September, according to Circana BookScan data cited by The Wall Street Journal. Publishers noted strong interest among adults ages 18 to 34. While researchers said a lasting revival requires long-term evidence, supporters believe his clearest legacy is a generation being led toward Christ today.
