As the Middle East war enters its 31st day, tensions continue to intensify with fears of a wider regional escalation. Iran has issued a strong warning against any U.S. ground invasion, vowing severe retaliation, as American forces increase their presence in the region.

The conflict is increasingly spreading across the Gulf. In Kuwait, a suspected Iranian strike on a power and desalination facility killed an Indian worker and damaged critical infrastructure, highlighting the growing risks to civilian and energy assets.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has emerged as a key diplomatic hub, hosting talks involving regional powers such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt in an effort to broker a ceasefire. However, divisions remain deep, with Iran rejecting proposals and continuing its military posture.

The crisis has also disrupted global energy markets, with Iran tightening its grip over the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for nearly a fifth of the world’s oil supply.

With missile and drone attacks ongoing and new actors entering the conflict, the coming days are seen as critical in determining whether diplomacy can succeed or the war will escalate further.
