A biblical-themed animated series is now streaming on Acontra+, offering children a joyful introduction to faith, friendship, and values. The show, launched in Spanish, follows two Jewish children, Abby and Joshua, in Capernaum, where they explore their world and encounter Jesus, voiced by Jonathan Roumie.

The series draws inspiration from The Chosen, adapting its storytelling into a child-friendly format that makes faith and life lessons clear and relatable for young viewers. Through adventures with their animal companions, Sheep and Dove, the children learn to see the world from a new perspective shaped by faith and understanding. It maintains a bright tone while remaining respectful of biblical texts. Messages of love, friendship, and spiritual growth were said to be central, helping bring the story of Jesus closer to children in an engaging and meaningful way.

According to Religión en Libertad, the show includes 14 episodes, each lasting between 11 and 13 minutes, making it accessible and simple to follow. The platform released episodes in stages starting December 24, with additional releases on December 30 and January 3.
Acontra+, launched in 2022 by A Contracorriente Films, was said to offer a wide catalogue, including films with spiritual themes. It reportedly stated that such content aims to combine entertainment with meaningful storytelling for families.
By combining adventure, friendship, and biblical lessons, the series invites children to explore faith with curiosity and joy, making the stories of Jesus both inspiring and unforgettable.
