The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has accused Pakistani security forces of carrying out two extrajudicial killings in Balochistan, intensifying concerns about rising violence, enforced disappearances and human rights violations in the region.

Body of missing man recovered after 18 months

According to the BYC, the tortured body of Nasram Baloch was discovered dumped in the Makseen Nadi area on Tuesday.
The group stated that he had been subjected to enforced disappearance for nearly one and a half years before the body was recovered.

The BYC reported signs of severe abuse, calling the killing part of a growing pattern of brutality against Baloch civilians.

Student allegedly killed a day after disappearance

The rights organization also revealed that another youth, Awais Baloch, was forcibly taken from his home in the Panjgur district on 23 February.

A day later, his mutilated body was found dumped at the Civil Hospital in Panjgur.

The BYC said Awais was a student and had no known militant links, calling his killing “another example of state-backed violence targeting unarmed civilians.”

Growing concern over extrajudicial actions

Human rights defenders and local organizations say extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances have sharply increased in recent years, despite repeated calls for transparent investigations and accountability.

The BYC reiterated that the incidents reflect a worsening environment for civilians in conflict-affected areas of Balochistan.
