A new documentary now streaming on Famiplay takes viewers inside the final hours of Jesus Christ. According to ACI Prensa, the film uses forensic and historical research to explore the Passion and crucifixion. ACI Prensa reports that the film offers an evidence-based, scientific and historical analysis of the Passion and crucifixion, and Famiplay now streams it on its family-focused platform.
The feature addresses key historical questions, including whether a condemned man could have carried a cross weighing approximately 80 kilograms or only the horizontal beam, particularly after undergoing severe flogging. Researchers involved in the film consulted archaeological findings and non-Christian historical records to contextualise the events.

According to a press release cited by ACI Prensa, the documentary examines the placement of the nails, and some studies suggest the wrists, rather than the palms, would have supported the body’s weight. Other specialists review the physical effects of the flagellation. They also analyse the possible medical cause of death.
Director Antonio Olivié stated that the work relies on historical and scientific evidence to frame the account. Famiplay said the premiere strengthens its documentary offerings by combining scholarship with accessible storytelling for viewers interested in history, science and faith.
