Anti Hamas crusader and militia leader Yasser Abu Shabab was killed late Thursday, in what Israeli defnese sources described as an internal clashes. Abu Shahab, who was severely injredm was taken to a nearby hospital in Gaza, where he died of his wounds.
Ynet news confirmed that the slain fighther was killed , when a fight broke out between rebel groups within the militia which deteriorted until shots were fired. Shahab, a Bedouin tribal leader, and a promienent anti Hamas face based in Southern Gaza, led sevaral anti Hamas group that came in support of Israel. Hamas branded him a collaborator and ordered its figthers to kill or capture him. Several uncofirmed souces reported that Shahab was killed due to his increasing support of Israel.
Meanwhile, The Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday that security forces have killed more than 40 Hamas operatives in that area, including, it officially confirmed, the commander of Hamas’s East Rafah Battalion, his deputy, and two other terror operatives, who were all killed on Sunday.
